In Tuolumne County, a total of $7,193,853 was taken out of school-allocated property taxes to pay State obligations in 2010-2011. $5,937,210 was redirected to satisfy the State's VLF backfill obligation. $1,256,643 was redirected to pay for the State's 2004 Economic Recovery Bonds.

Over $7.2 million will be taken out of Tuolumne schools' local property taxes to fund the state's debts this fiscal year. And Tuolumne County K-12 school districts will see a minimum of $2,474,153 of it still owed to them when the school year ends (June 2014). $7,213,867 was taken out of Tuolumne school-allocated property tax in the latest reported year (2011-12), $5,727,777 for the VLF "Swap" and $1,486,090 to pay for the 2004 Economic Recovery Bonds.
